GRD 3150 - INTRODUCTION TO TYPOGRAPHY
Introduction to Typography. Prerequisites: Art 1010, 1020, 1030, and 1040 or 1050 with grades of C or higher. Must be taken concurrently with GrD 3000 (fall) or GrD 3200 (spring). Aesthetics and legibility of type through applied design. Specifying type, type terminology, type as compositional element, cultural considerations of type and image. Introduction to drawing and page layout software. Lab Fee $20.00.

GRD 3200 - INTERMEDIATE GRAPHIC DESIGN
Intermediate Graphic Design. Prerequisites: GrD 3000 with grade of C or higher. Continued development of conceptual and traditional/ digital media skills including art direction, image-making, and specialized problem areas. Lab Fee: $20.00.
